Welsoft blanket fabric: structure, weight and uses
Welsoft is a plush fabric made from 100% polyester microfibre. The fabric is knitted, then brushed and sheared to give a short, dense pile. The pile can be on one side or both.
What microfibre means
Microfibre is a synthetic fibre with very fine individual filaments. Because there are so many fine fibres side by side, the pile is soft and dense. That is why welsoft looks full while staying light.
